While googling over a couple of VOIP protocols I somehow stopped at
http://www.protocols.com
I really found this site interesting for networking newbies.
At the same time found it quiet useful for network/ telecom domain geeks (software programmers, testers, network operation managers, solution architects etc etc )
The web site not only owns a descriptive repository for networking protocols, but also provide excellent search tool, Magazine references, references to popular telco sites ( for e.g. Light Reading ) and contains excellent technology white papers.
The protocol and networking topics have been categorised with a well seggregated menu based on underlying domain and technology related to networking and telecom protocols.
WORTH TAKING A LOOK!
